We recognize the wealth of ideas and information generated by social economy organizations. However, there has often been a disconnect between what we know and what we do. SEARCH seeks to bridge this gap by converting ideas into action, and information into outcomes.

We translate research into practical plans, which are in turn tested out and implemented in the field. All throughout, we document processes and results, with the goal of designing replicable models for social development. This is what we call action research.
